About Us
The desire to move abroad to a better climate and improve our quality of life had been with us for sometime before we finally made the commitment to relocate in 2005. The inspiration behind this website comes from our enthusiasm and passion for Tenerife.
Having sold up everything, we arrived in Tenerife in September 2005, with an open mind and the proceeds from the sale of our home and goods in the UK. The one thing we knew for sure was that we wanted to work for ourselves, so we began shopping around and I have to admit, we did look at a couple of bars! Fortunately our heads ruled and we quickly decided that it wasn’t for us. Having no experience in that field, it was unlikely to work.
We had to start earning a living and decided to open a small shop. We were fortunate enough to have had an Asesore recommended to us, who dealt with all our paperwork, both personal and for the business, so now we were on our way. Our field of expertise was in I.T and retail.
The business was successful and we had so many ideas that we wanted to implement, there just weren’t enough hours in the day and over the months that followed, we continued to work very long hours.
We cannot deny it was an uphill struggle, especially when the world economy took a nose dive, the first area that many businesses made cutbacks in was in their advertising, which is where most of our income came from at that time.
Since then we have diversified greatly, and now have a well established and sucessful business which allows us to spend time in both Tenerife and the UK.
Tenerife was a good move for us and we have no regrets whatsoever!
